The effect of traditional carwashing on the environment is tremendous. With droughts becoming the norm across the planet this is no time to use the traditional forms of car washing.
The traditional at home driveway carwash uses 80-140 gallons of water according to (ICA) International Carwash Associat
ion. Traditional car wash methods do not only waste water, they’re also inferior compared to Polymer based cleaning. PDW strives to be a water conservation leader in the auto appearance industry. We proudly use “Water Smart” technology that reduces our water consumption to between 6 ounces and 1 gallon per car!
Preservation
Water based home washes are harsh on the environment. The soap, brake dust residue, oils and other contaminents enter our water system without treatment at all. Those contaminants threaten water life and our drinking water. Using Planet Drywash preserves the environment, by emulsifying dirt and contaminants and then trapping them in microfiber towels, which can be easily cleaned in a typical washing machine, resulting in the water be treated prior to entering our water system. In addition, all PDW products are certified organic and proven 100% biodegradable. We only use products that are VOC compliant and allergen free.
Sustainability
PDW practices sustainability by readily re-using bottles, packaging and other materials. This practice not only protects the environment but it also helps us reduce expenses and keep our prices reasonable for our customers. We also encourage our suppliers and vendors to participate in similar recycling and conservation programs.
